Engineering the systems behind the next decade of Nigerian business

Centric Scale Systems is a software company in Lagos, led by a systems engineer. Solutions Mapping

Map it before you build it. A Scope Map or System Blueprint works out what you're making, what it runs on and what it should cost, before any money is spent on code.

  • How it all connects
  • User journeys
  • Roles and permissions

Global-standard systems, built for West Africa

Most organisations in Nigeria run on systems nobody planned, hosted where nobody checks, built by vendors who are gone after launch. The infrastructure companies abroad take for granted has been out of reach. We bring it within reach.

How we work

What our clients say

“We came in needing a store that could sell in naira and dollars. They mapped it, built it in phases and still run it for us. Orders haven’t stopped since launch.”

“Our old site went down every other month and nobody could tell us why. Since the move, we simply don’t think about it, and we get a clear report every month.”

From an idea to the keys, in six steps

01 · Free

A 15-minute call

We arrange your vision into a real product: what it is, who it serves, and what has to be true for it to work. No charge, no obligation, no sales pitch.

02 · Solutions Mapping

Technical mapping

We map every technical requirement before anyone agrees a build price: the stack, the integrations, the data, the screens. So the quote you get afterwards is real.

03

The map and the proposal

We walk you through the map live, every decision explained, not a PDF left in your inbox. With it, a firm proposal: a fixed price per phase, milestones and dates. The map is yours to keep.

04

We build

Founder-led engineering against fixed milestones, with staging access and weekly progress. The engineer who scoped it is the engineer who ships it.

05 · Free

Training and handover

Hands-on training and documentation. Once the final invoice is paid, everything we built is yours: code, domains, hosting, content and data. No lock-in.

06 · Optional

Ongoing partnership

Keep us on for infrastructure and technical operations, or take the keys and run it yourself. Neither is priced into the build.

Delivery standards

Four standards, in writing, before any work starts.

And the name? You get paid, we get paid.

Delivery standards · P.A.I.D.

What you can hold us to

Committed to in writing before any work starts, on any project, at any tier.

  1. Professionalism

Modern engineering standards. Code that's structured, accessible and tested on phones and desktops, with no abandoned plugins in the stack.

  2. Assistance

Managed clients get a direct WhatsApp line to the engineer. Not a ticket queue, and no account manager relaying messages.

  3. Integrity

Complete ownership, no lock-in. Once the final invoice is paid, the code, repositories, domains and hosting accounts belong to your company.

  4. Delivery

Milestones and dates agreed in writing, before any invoice. When we commit to a date, it ships on that date, after full testing.

You get paid. What we build is meant to earn. The part that makes money ships first, and we keep it running.

We get paid. Fixed prices per phase, agreed in writing and paid in stages. No surprises on either side.

How Nigerian businesses really perform online

We run real sites for a group of small and growing businesses, measure the same things every month, and publish what we find. Real numbers from real sites, not a survey.

See the study →
  1. DiscoveryWhere do customers come from: which search engines, social platforms and apps, and which pages?
  2. DevicesHow does the site perform on every kind of device as visits grow?

Questions we get asked

Why choose a founder-led company over a traditional agency?

Agencies often hand your work to junior developers after the sale, while billing senior rates. Here you work directly with the systems engineer who plans, builds and maintains your platform, from the first call to years after launch.

What is included in Managed Infrastructure?

Managed Infrastructure is a pure cloud service: isolated hosting, daily off-site backups, a web application firewall, SSL certificates, uptime monitoring and DNS oversight. Content edits and development hours sit outside it, under our Technical Solutions retainer.

Do I own the website and the code?

Yes, 100%. Once the final invoice is paid, the code, repositories, domains and hosting accounts belong to your company, with no vendor lock-in. We keep only our own reusable tools, and you get a permanent licence to use them.

I already have a website. Can you manage it, or rebuild it?

Yes. A simple site can move straight onto Managed Infrastructure, with migration included in onboarding. For more complex systems we start with a Scope Map or System Blueprint to map your stack, vendors and risks. It's billed as its own piece of work and it's yours to use whether or not we do the build. From there we migrate it, rebuild it, or look after it under Technical Overseer or Technical Partner.

Why do I need CAC registration before launching an online store?

Taking payments online in Nigeria falls under Central Bank of Nigeria rules, so payment processors limit what unregistered accounts can do. A new account starts with a limit on what it can take. To lift it and settle into a corporate bank account, processors ask for your CAC registration documents and a Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Can I move from Core Performance to Enterprise Multi-Stack later?

Yes. If your platform starts as a standard WordPress site on Core and later grows into a custom application built with Laravel, React or Node.js and its own database, we move it to Enterprise Multi-Stack. That tier handles containers (Docker, PM2) and database tuning, and the move is planned so your site stays up.
